Paula Peters of DPAC speaks to the protesters as they meet outside
Parliament

and so does Andy Greene

Some of the group were going inside Parliament where they would protest

and make their way down the slope

While the others held a rally in Old Palace Yard

George Harris reads one of his poems

A man has a long poster against how Wandsworth Social Services treats
his disabled daughter comes and stands with them

Several of those taking part spoke about the way Universal Credit
is cutting support for the disabled

and a squirrel held a placard 'Universal Credit is NUTS!' though perhaps
squirrels should like it in that case?

There were speakers about the problems faced by those with mental
health issues, and more poems

'Over half of kids of colour live in poverty' and 'Stop harassing
disabled mums back to work!' posters

'Theresa May is NUTS!'

After protesting noisily inside parliament some of the protesters
arrived at the rally outside

with their banner '#StopandScrap Universal Credit is a Crime'

and gave a brief report on the protest. Some others were still talking
to the press about it.

'2 Child Limit = Deliberate Starvation of Kids!'

Another poem - and Claire Glasman of Winvisible holds a poster "UC
= Mums of Disabled Kids lose £1000's per year'

Potent Whisper performs

Paula Peters of DPAC says she is proud to wear a t-shirt for the Scottish
Black Triangle Campaign who were supportinf the protest

and speaks about the iniquities of Universal Credit - soon to be introduced
in her area too

as well as about their protest in Parliament

and then asks everyone if they are ready for some DPAC action

and there is a resounding shout of support

with people clapping and raising their hands

Paula Peters says "get ready to go..."
