
From our hotel window we could see Great Ancoats St

and the Ashton Canal


Under the brdige is the short New Islington arm

From the end of our corridor there was a view roughly south towards
Piccadilly Station

and by the lifts another window looked out to distant hills

Ashton Canal. At right is the Vulcan and Albion Mills, now converted
to flats
