Albert Dock Basin entrance and the Thames

Gallions Point Marina was evicted last year

I think this marchinery opens the lock gates

and on the outside of the building is the control panel

Finally I made my way across the lock gates

The view of the marina and Royal Albert Dock

The footpath goes back towards the river bank

Looking back towards Woolwich

and ahead are what remains of the jetty for the Beckton gas works

and in the distance the flood barrier on Barking Creek

Woolwich

The path comes to an end at Armada Green recreation area

and you cannot walk further along by the river

Armada Green isn't very green
