The first communicants come out of the church
and the clergy. One of the organisers reads a commentary as the various
groups in the procession go past the church
statues, walking groups
and floats
The four evangelists
ROman soliders escort Jesus
who carries his crosss
Christ leads the first communicants
more statues and floast
and the clergy and Our Lady of Mount Carmel move into the road
The lid is removed from a wicker basket containign three white doves,
and they fly up
one soaring above the other two
and the clergy join in the procession
followed by a float carrying Our Lady of Mount Carmel,
and the crowd of parishoners and others follow behind
to walk around the area and back to the church.Some of the crowd watching
join in, while others, myself included,
go down the hill to the Sagra.
